Freddy Weller

Freddy Weller gained success as lead guitar player of the pop group Paul Revere and the Raiders. During Raiders' shows Freddy Weller would often sing a Country song and, in 1969 while still with the group, he had a big hit on the Country charts with his version of Joe South's "Games People Play." Freddy Weller had three more Top Ten Country hits before he left the Raiders. Altogether he had about a decade on the Country charts. Freddy Feller continued to perform on the road. He has enjoyed considerable success as a songwriter both in pop ("Dizzy," "Jam Up And Jelly Tight") and Country ("Lonely Women Make Good Lovers").
