Barbara Fairchild Biography |

For three years Barbara Fairchild struggled along on the Columbia record label, getting airplay but never cracking the Top Twenty on the Billboard Country singles chart. Then at the end of 1972 Barbara Fairchild released the record that suddenly made her a star. "Kid Stuff," and "Baby Doll," with some success. After Barbara Fairchild's tenure with Columbia ended in 1978, she drifted toward gospel and later performed at her own theater in Branson, Missouri.
