Blue Sky Boys Biography |
|
The Blue Sky Boys were Bill and Earl Bolick, an early brother harmony act that signed with RCA while still in their teens and recorded for the label over a fifteen year period. After the war the Blue Sky Boys worked on various radio shows, most notably the "Louisiana Hayride." In 1951 the Blue Sky Boys "retired," but they couldn't stay away. The 60s saw the Blue Sky Boys performing again, often in a bluegrass environment. They also made some fine later recordings for independent labels.
