Gary Stewart Biography |
|
Gary Stewart comes from that part of country where rock 'n roll guitars meet Country singin' and honkytonk songs. In the 60s Gary Stewart recorded for Cory and Kapp and wrote some hits, too. In the early seventies he moved over to RCA and cut a song called "Drinkin' Thing." The first time out it bombed, but producer Roy Dea suggested that it be released again a few months later, and this time the song went Top Ten. He followed with a pair of Top Five honky tonkers, "Out Of Hand," and "She's Acting' Single (I'm Drinkin' Doubles)." Gary Stewart had a few more decent chart records then began to fade, but his unique rock and Country road show won him a core of loyal fans. br>Gary Stewart Discography |
