Jeannie Seely Biography |
|
They call Jeannie Seely "Miss Country Soul." In the mid-sixties Jeannie Seely struggled with her career in Los Angeles then, in 1966, recording for Monument Records, she released "Don't Touch Me," which rose to the #2 slot on the Billboard Country singles chart and over the years became one of Country music's true classics. Over the next decade and more, there was always room on the charts for Jeannie Seely, and occasionally she'd make it to the Top Ten. In 1969 she and Jack Greene had a huge duet smash with "Wish I Didn't Have to Miss You." Jeannie Seely became a favorite on the Grand Ole Opry, and her unique vocal qualities make her a treat to listen to any time, any place. br>Jeannie Seely Discography |
