Jim Stafford Biography |
| In the 70s Jim Stafford had a series of major pop novelty hits that included "Spiders And Snakes," "My Girl Bill," and "Wildwood Weed." In 1975 he had a well received summer replacement TV series called "The Jim Stafford Show," did more TV, toured a lot, and since then has had a successful show in his Branson, Mo., theater. Although Jim Stafford has never had a major country hit, many country fans recognize him as one of their own, and appreciate his quick wit, his pleasant voice, and superb musicianship.
