Johnny Bond Biography |
|
Johnny Bond was a mainstay on Gene Autry's Melody Ranch television show and was part of a singing trio with Jimmy Wakely and Scotty Harrell that recorded for Decca Records under the name Jimmy Wakely Trio and for Columbia as Johnny Bond and the Cimarron Boys. During the '40s and '50s Johnny Bond wrote a lot of hit songs, but it wasn't until 1965 at the age of 50 that he had a solo hit on Starday Records called, "Ten Little Bottles," which made it all the way to the #2 slot on the Billboard Country singles chart. br>Johnny Bond Discography |
