Over the years a number of Country artists arose whose style bore an unmistakable similarity to that of Ray Price. One of the best of these was Johnny Bush, who arrived on the charts in 1967 at a time when Ray was forsaking his Country shuffles for crooner type ballads. Johnny Bush generally stayed true to the old Ray Price style with songs like "What A Way To Live" and "Undo The Right." In 1969 Johnny had his biggest hit on Pete Drake's Stop Records with the Marty Robbins-written classic, "You Gave Me A Mountain." Johnny Bush wrote the Country standard "Whiskey River," a Top Fifteen record for him in 1972 and later a hit for Willie Nelson. br>Johnny Bush Discography
