Brother Harmony is a mainstay of traditional Country, but when the Gatlins arrived on the scene it was just about a forgotten art. In the mid-'70s Larry Gatlin signed with Monument Records. His brothers Steve and Rudy arrived in Nashville in time to sing with him on his first album, and soon the hits were coming. The first Top Five hit was "Broken Lady," released in 1976, then "Anything But Leavin'," "I Don't Wanna Cry," "Love Is Just A Game," and "I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love," #1 on the Billboard Country singles chart in 1978. By this time the group sound was so well established that when Larry moved to Columbia the next year, the act became Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers Band. That year they had their biggest hit, "All The Gold In California." br>Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers Discography
