Moe Bandy Biography

In 1974, on a tiny record label, Moe Bandy came from nowhere with a honky tonk classic titled "I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today." At a time when Country music was heading in an uptown direction, Moe Bandy was a breath of fresh air. Over the next fifteen years Moe kept it Country with a long string of hits that included "Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life," "Bandy The Rodeo Clown" and "It Was Always So Easy To Find An Unhappy Woman (Till I Started Looking For Mine)." In later years Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley scored big as a duet with a number of novelty hits.
