Patti Page Biography
Throughout the '50s Patti Page was one of the top pop singers in America with hits like "Tennessee Waltz," "Detour," "How Much Is That Doggy in the Window," and "Old Cape Cod." In 1965 Patti Page had her last major pop hit, "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte." In the '70s a number of her records charted Country but her Country success did not equal her unparalleled pop achievements. Nevertheless, many Country fans treasure Patti Page's pop hits and, indeed, they blend in very well with the Nashville Sound of the '70s and '80s.
