Ray Pillow Biography |
|
Ray Pillow was one of those guys who seemed destined to be a major Country star. He had great looks, a fine Country voice and a winning personality. In 1963 Ray Pillow was signed to a Capitol Records contract. In 1965 he cracked the Top Twenty with "Thank You Ma'am." A year later he and Jean Shepard had a Top Ten hit with "I'll Take The Dog." That same year Ray Pillow became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Then – nothing. A few more chart records that were not hits and short stints on a couple of other labels. Ray Pillow has kept busy in other areas of the music business and continues to appear on the Grand Ole Opry, but many folks continue to wonder why Ray never really made it big. Listen to Ray Pillow's fine recordings, and you might wonder, too. br>Ray Pillow Discography |
