Some country fans prefer their country artists to love only country, and they don't understand Ronnie Milsap, whose musical repertoire covers the map and whose early recording efforts were more in the R & B or pop vein than country. Success began on RCA in the early 70s with hits like "I Hate You," "That Girl Who Waits On Tables," and "Pure Love." As the 70s and 80s moved along Ronnie had hit after hit, including 35 number 1s, and also notched six Grammies and numerous other awards. Ronnie's music life started in a school for the blind and led him to one of the greatest country music careers in the history of the genre. Other hits include "It Was Almost Like A Song," "What A Difference You've Made In My Life," and "Let's Take The Long Way Around The World," records that enjoyed healthy pop acceptance in addition to their country popularity. br>Ronnie Milsap Discography
