Speedy West played pedal steel and Jimmy Bryant played electric guitar and when they worked together their flashy jazz-influenced playing was a treat for the ears, and they shined on their own too, on 35 singles and five albums. Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant were pioneers on their instruments and extraordinary musical innovators.
